Shea Wolansky is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Kindway HR Consulting, a boutique human resources practice based in North Vancouver, British Columbia. Shea established Kindway in 2023 after more than a decade of progressive experience in complex organizational environments across healthcare, higher education, and the public sector.
Throughout her career, Shea has built a reputation for helping organizations navigate their most sensitive and challenging workplace matters with professionalism, fairness, and care. She has conducted hundreds of workplace investigations involving allegations such as bullying and harassment, workplace violence, sexual harassment, discrimination, and other serious policy breaches. Her work is grounded in principles of procedural fairness, trauma-informed practice, and psychological safety.
Before founding Kindway HR Consulting, Shea held senior HR roles supporting large and complex organizations, where she advised executive leaders on employee relations, conflict resolution, organizational culture, and workplace investigations. This experience gives her a practical understanding of the pressures leaders face when addressing difficult people-related issues and the importance of clear, defensible, and thoughtful processes.
Through Kindway HR Consulting, Shea provides independent workplace investigations, workplace assessments, and strategic HR advisory services to organizations that require experienced, impartial support. Her clients value her balanced approach: rigorous and methodical when addressing complex complaints, yet compassionate and respectful toward the individuals involved.
Shea is committed to promoting psychologically safe workplaces and continues to pursue ongoing professional development in areas such as trauma-informed practice, diversity and inclusion, and Indigenous cultural safety.
At the heart of Shea’s work is a simple philosophy:
In a world of many paths, choose the Kindway - led by empathy, integrity and fairness.
